BROWS

Do you want to wake up every morning with stunning, full brows? Look no further than Microblading.

Microblading creates the effect of natural, full brows. Each stroke replicates real hair, and the end result is a brow that looks nearly identical to your natural hair pattern. Microblading can create or redefine the shape of brows, fill in empty/sparse areas, thicken, extend, and create brows for clients who have lost all of their brow hair.

From start to finish, our team of Microblading Specialists will ensure that you are understand the entire process and know what to expect. We are the industry-leader in Microblading for a reason. We customize the experience to fit the needs of each client and will find a shape that suits you.

WHY MICROBLADING?

There are a number of reasons that our clients choose Microblading over alternative procedures.

  • Microblading is semi-permanent and less invasive than traditional cosmetic tattooing. The Microblade only penetrates the epidermis layer of skin, meaning that it will naturally fade and disappear over time.
  • Microblading is more natural looking than traditional cosmetic tattooing.
  • Microblading fades out over an 8 – 24 month period. This means that as styles change, you aren’t stuck with the same look.
  • Microblading is safe and works extremely well for clients who have suffered hair loss due to illness or other reasons.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Microblading produces semi-permanent results, lasting anywhere from 8-24 months if never touched up. How quickly the strokes fade depend on how a client’s skin retains pigment, and how well the brows are taken care of.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

Microblading appointments are 1 – 1.5 hours in length depending on which specialist is performing the procedure. The procedure is equal parts technical and artistic, and our Brow Specialists strive to spend as much time with each client as possible to ensure the best results.Microblading appointments begin with the Brow Specialist taking an overview of your face, analyzing your bone structure, eye placement, and face shape. Your Specialist will then discuss what you would like to achieve with your brows in terms of shape, thickness, size, colour, arch, and personal preference. Measurements will be taken, your brows will be filled in with a pencil, waxed if needed, and outlined. From there, your Brow Specialist will make a few strokes to scratch the skin, and apply the numbing cream which will take about 5 – 15 minutes to set in. After that, the most appropriate colour and type of pigment will be determined to best suit you. This selection will depend partly on personal preference, but will also depend on skin colour, undertone, hair colour, and eye colour. After your Brow Specialist has mixed your pigment shade, they will begin to Microblade your brows, checking periodically, to ensure balance and symmetry.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?

Healing time is approximately 10 – 14 days depending on how well your skin heals, but that time period is only for the top layer of skin. Microblading takes 30 days to heal fully. After the procedure area has healed, a touch up appointment will be needed. The process is not considered complete without it! Your touch-up appointment will be booked 4 – 6 weeks after your initial appointment. At the touch up, your Brow Specialist will be able to determine how your skin has healed, and if they will need to make any adjustments to the colour, needle size, or depth at which the needle is inserted into the skin. The Brow Specialist will be able to solidify the strokes done at the first appointment, as well as fill in any sparse areas, and place strokes between the already healed strokes.During healing, it’s normal to experience moderate pigment loss (40% – 60% on average). This is why the touch up appointment is so critical. The process of Microblading is only considered to be complete once your brows have healed following the touch up appointment.

WHAT KIND OF PIGMENTS ARE USED?

We use only inorganic mineral and synthetic pigments. There are organic pigments on the market, but there is a significantly higher chance of infection and unwanted bacterial growth with these kinds of pigments.Brows by G has a wide range of pigments as we want to provide you with the best possible results. Your Brow Specialist will custom mix your pigment shade to match personal preference, hair colour, skin tone, etc. Please let us know of any allergies or sensitivities prior to your appointment. We can always do a patch test on your arm during the consultation if you require.

MICROPIGMENTATION

Looking for a more permanent solution for brows and eyeliner? Micropigmentation may be right for you!

Micropigmentation (also known as cosmetic tattooing) is a state-of-the-art method of depositing mineral pigments into the dermis layer of the skin using a digitally controlled machine and specialized needles. The Micropigmentation machine, needles, and pigment are purpose-built to create a more permanent effect, but are very different from traditional tattooing. Our Micropigmentation Specialists are able to select the size of needle and depth of penetration. This allows a much higher degree of precision then standard cosmetic tattooing, and a consistent distribution of pigment.

The way we apply the Micropigmentation procedure is not like traditional cosmetic tattooing. We do not create dark, thick, blocky brows. Our Micropigmentation Specialists are able to create a natural, feathered look using our precise, digitally-controlled machine.

Welcome to the future of cosmetic tattooing.

WHY MICROPIGMENTATION?

There are a number of reasons that our clients choose Micropigmentation.

  • Micropigmentation can be effectively used if a client’s brows do not retain the pigment from Microblading.
  • Micropigmentation creates a more permanent effect than Microblading, for clients who want less maintenance.
  • Micropigmentation is safe and works extremely well for clients who have suffered hair loss due to illness or other reasons.
  • Micropigmentation can be used for brows, eyeliner, lips, areolas, and on the scalp!
  • HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

Micropigmentation is a more permanent procedure than Microblading, as the pigment is deposited deeper into the skin. However, in rare cases the results of micropigmentation can fade as well. Both services require touch up appointments for best results.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROPIGMENTATION AND TRADITIONAL BODY TATTOOING?

The purpose of Micropigmentation is to enhance the natural features of a client. Micropigmentation is softer and subtler. It is meant to be a natural-looking enhancement. Traditional body tattoos use ink while Micropigmentation procedures use pigments. These pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the artist to make changes to colour and shape over the years as a client’s natural colouration and facial attributes may change.

    WHAT HAPPENS DURING MY APPOINTMENT?

Micropigmentation appointments are 1.5 – 2.5 hours in length depending on which specialist is performing the procedure and what type of Micropigmentation is being done.
